A zine about an alien who collects objects and offers them to other aliens but they usually say no although they’re quite polite about it OR Alien Zine
Combining narrative with found objects, this zine tells the story of an alien character being politely rejected. Objects were collected from pavements and gutters over the course of a semester. The Alien is particularly drawn to flattened things which were once functional, for example, rusty cans and bottlecaps. Each copy of Alien Zine contains The Alien and their story, a photographic rust or impression print, as well as a collection of The Alien’s sparkling scraps unique to each copy.
Initial drawings for The Alien were created during a collaborative workshop alongside Maddie Williams.
