This first iteration of The Locksbrook Material Waste Archive was developed as a dissertation project testing the capacity of discarded material to hold narrative and historical value. Documenting studio activity at Locksbrook Campus, Bath Spa University, the project seeks to provoke conversations around the importance of repurposing waste material, breaking down hierarchical ideas around what an art material can be.
