I Used To Be Something is a workshop and exhibition focused on mapping Locksbrook Campus, Bath Spa University through material waste, offcuts, and studio debris coming out of different spaces. The workshop was part of Locksbrook Lates 5 March 2026 and engaged staff, students, and the surrounding community.
This project involved reconfiguring material donated to the Locksbrook Material Waste Archive into small compressed sculptures. Attendees were invited to make a sculpture from each bag. All material had to be incorporated and no additional tape or binding material was allowed. An opportunity to make responsively with material restrictions.
